I'm a hardware electronics engineer and don't do software.
I've designed an FT4222H into a circuit.
At some point, I'll hand the hardware over to a software person who's going to expect the FT4222H USB link to work.
Does anyone know where I can get a windows .exe file that is a terminal/exerciser application to test out the link?
To be able to read and write data bytes and set and clear GPIO is what I am after. It may even exist un-compiled in the software routines supplied - or as an internal FTDI Software Tool.

Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately we have not developed a terminal equivalent application for the FT4222H, but maybe someone else on the forum could help you with this.
We do however have a series of software examples which can be downloaded and used to test the device, these include read/write as well as GPIO examples.
The samples are included in the LibFT4222 download, available in the 'downloads' tab on the product page:
