Title: FT121 USB connection
Post by: guoweiran on July 22, 2019, 06:53:53 AM
Hi,

I'm using a pcb which is used to convert usb into spi with a FT121 on it. When I plug the pcb's usb interfacing into PC, it couldn't be identified. I have downloaded and run the "CDM21228_setup.exe", "FT12x-CDC" and installed the "ft12x.inf", and it doesn't work.
After I installed the "ft12x.inf", "FT12x Evaluation Platform(COM3)" with a yellow exclamation mark appeared in the device manager's "port", saying "The device could not be started. (Code 10)". When I unplug the pcb, the "FT12x Evaluation Platform(COM3)" will still stay there.

What should I do or download to get the pcb identified? And which software is used to configure it? It seems that FT_Prog doesn't support the FT121 chip.

Best regards.
