Title: FT4232H MPSSE GPIOL1 Wait or Stop CLK - how use it?
Post by: dania on February 23, 2022, 01:12:26 PM
Hello,
in Application Note AN_135 I see in table 2.2 on page 6 Wait or Stop CLK capability. How connect it with microcontroller? How configure MPSSE for it?

Best Regards

Hi
Here's a link to the application note AN 135 - MPSSE Basics

Hello,

irrelevant answer. If I quote from AN135, I know where to get it. In addition, I did not find the answer to my question in it.
After a long search, I found the answer in AN_108 "Command Processor for MPSSE and MCU Host Bus Emulation Modes" (document Version 1.5) paragraphs 6.7 "Clk continuously and Wait On I/O High" and 6.8 "Clk continuously and Wait On I/O Low" on page 24.

It is important to read the question carefully and, if I do not understand it, to ask the interviewer for clarification. The answer should include the exact information where it is located - document, page, paragraph ...

It cannot be blamed only on the language barrier. These "scared responders" are everywhere. They need to express themselves without helping anyone. Such a replacement for well-founded technical support seems inappropriate to me.
