Title: Reverse UART RX/TX in the FTDI Dual Channel FT2232H chip
Post by: adnanhuxain on March 24, 2022, 04:01:45 AM
I have used the FT2232H chip to make my own custom module and I made the wrong connection with the TX/RX. Are there any ways to swap/reverse the UART TX/RX in the FT2232H? In the FT_Prog, I couldn't see the option to reverse TX/RX so I am assuming that reversing is not possible in the FT2232H?

Hi
You could invert these signals using the FT prog utility.

From the "hardware specific" section there is an "Invert RS232 signals" section.  TX/RX can be inverted from there.

I don't see that option in the FT_Prog. Please check the image attached below. I am using the FT2232H dual channel UART chip

Reversing (swapping) of UART RX and TX is not possible in the FT2232H
