Hi Team,

We are using SPI Interface with FT2232H Chip with the Chip being the Master and the MCU (KS20 Family of MCU by NXP) acting as slave. When we transmit the data "15" in decimals from the FT chip, then at the Slave side i.e. MCU side we are receiving the data as "7" which supposedly should be "15" but when we connect 10K Pull-Up Resistor on the SCK Line, we are getting the appropriate data of what is being sent.

Do we really need to connect that Pull-up resistor ?  or is there any other Configs or changes that are needed?

Hi Team,

We are working on a project with Custom Designed  Board having an MCU of KS20/22 series by NXP  connected to FT2232H Chip through a Multiplexer. We are using an API using the LibMPSSE library provided by FTDI ( https://ftdichip.com/software-examples/mpsse-projects/libmpsse-spi-examples/ ) on our PC Machine running Linux OS and tried to run the code on the board sending the data over SPI channel, In the entire process we failed to get the Clock Pulses when tried to measure on the MCU side of the Pin which to be particular was tested upon TP-44 as shown in the Schematic.

Hi there,

We are working on a project which uses FT2232H, The MCU is of Kinetis 20/22 family by NXP.
While using the FT2232H chip with the Setup over a Machine running Linux as the OS, the system is unable to detect the FT Chip.

We also would want to have an understanding over the default working mode of the FT2232H Chip, are there any Prerequisite Configuration needed to use the FT chip in SPI Mode?

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Discussion - Hardware / FT2232H Not Getting Detected over Windows Comm Port.
« on: September 20, 2021, 02:08:50 PM »
Hi there,

We are working on a project which uses FT2232H, The MCU is of Kinetis 20/22 family by NXP. While using Linux as the OS we can see the Comm Ports being created on the Terminal but the same setup is not working on Windows and gets listed in the Device Manager as (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

We have tried almost every solution available on the Internet from Installation of drivers to other files that can be of use to implement, also tried using another board with the FT2232H mounted on it but all in vain.

Also, If someone can suggest if we need to make any extra configurations to use UART in Asynchronous Mode alongwith FT2232H which as far as we know is pretty straightforward to implement. Help and Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks !
