Hi,

I have connected FT4222H device in 1 data stream mode with my Windows 7 machine. It is appearing as FT4222H Interface A under Universal Serial But Controllers in my machine.

If the same device in same mode I connect in some other machine for the first time(freshly) then it is appearing as FT4222H Mode 3 device. I do not need to install any driver also for this.

Also in no other machine the device is appearing as FT4222H Interface A or B or C or D device depending up on mode. Only in my machine I am seeing the device with FT4222H Interface A Or B or C or D.

So how device should appear in 1 data stream mode in any machine?
If device should appear as FT4222H Interface A or B or C or D then can you give me proper procedure to install drivers?
And if device should appear as FT4222H Mode 3 device then what should be the procedure to get device as mode 3 device?

Regards,
Ritesh

Discussion - Software / API for setting clock divider
« on: April 24, 2018, 11:41:21 AM »
I am using LibFT4222.h and ftd2xx.h library for communicating with FT4222H device.
As per the LibFt4222 programming guide user can set the clock by FT_SetClock function once the FTDI device is opened in SPI_MASTER_INIT mode.
Similarly if user wants to set clock divider also then is there any API for setting clock divider for FTDI device once it is opened in SPI_MASTER_INIT mode?
