General Discussion / Re: Ft260q-t instead of ft232r
« on: October 05, 2021, 01:32:46 AM »
Hello,

According to datasheet, DCNF0 pin should be set to high and DCNF1 set to low in order to enable UART communication. Is there any other configuration I should consider to allow the IC to act as TTL-232R cable converter?

Thank you,

General Discussion / Ft260q-t instead of ft232r
« on: September 30, 2021, 07:35:48 PM »
Hello everyone,

I am working on a project that need an FT232r cable to convert UART to USB. The cable work fine but we are planning to use an IC on the board instead. Unfortunately, FT232 ICs are out of stock everywhere.

Is it possible to use FT260 instead ? we don't need a specific application. Only convert UART to USB.

Thank you,
