FT60X custom firmware

Hello FTDI community!

Is it possible to write our own custom firmware for FTDI600 or 601? My objective is to give it a generic mass storage interface. I've noticed that there is a UVC and vendor specific firmware writer for the 602, but is it possible to get the source code for this to change what is flashed to the FTDI60x?

Unfortunately it is not possible to write custom firmware for the FT60x series of ICs.
