Title: Hello from the Netherlands
Post by: josked on October 20, 2020, 01:53:23 PM
Hi everyone,

I,m using the VNC2-32L1C in a unit for reading and writing from and to a USB stick.
Mainly mp3 files to play.
Till last year I did the production myself, but due to increased production numbers, production is now transfert to a production facility.
For production I'm developing a test and programming device, to make it a smooth process.
To make it a "start whit one button" process, I would like to implement the programming of the VNC2 in my own process.

I'm looking for the protocol to program the VNC2 through the Debug port.
Could anyone help me with this?
I've looked on the website but could not find what I'm looking for.
I understand, that it is a normal serial port, with RX and TX combined.
What is the Boudrate?
And what are the commands to get this going? etc.

best regards,
Jos Knoop.

Jos:

The following applications note describes the programming protocol for the VNC2:

Hello,

Thanks, it never occurred to me to look here. This will get me going.
One question still, I assume the boudrate starting-up is 115200?

thanks.
